Yes, some of the posts in this blog may not be enjoyable but it is important that people get to know what is going on in Zimbabwe.

Besides the passport thing, people go through so much grief for tasks that should be so simple and straight forward to complete. The actions of a select few has made life for millions very difficult.

Hi
I have been browsing your blogs and enjoying the photos a lot! Some beautiful pictures. :-)

This blog isn't "enjoyable", but so necessary if the world is ever going to listen and help Zimbabwe. Keep it up! keep hoping for that better future.

As for the passport thing - my sympathies.

My dad went through similar grief trying to get his dad's birth certificate from Zimbabwe, for a UK visa application.

By the time my dad's cheque arrived in Zimbabwe (from South Africa) the price for birth certificates had gone up and he had to pay more, but even that didn't work. He never got the certificate actually. Lucky enough the British govt was willing to accept a copy.
